• Opinion of Other Indic Researchers on Ursa Major:
While dating of timeline our researchers have thought that the Saptarishi (Ursa Major) motion is backwards , it means from Ursa Major will move from Star/Constellation (Nakshtra) 27 that's Revati to Star/Constellation No. 26 that's Uttara Bhadra pada then Star/ Constellation No. 25 that's Purva Bhadrapada like that it will come to Ashwini then back to Revati.
• Results of our Research on position of Ursa Major :
But what I've found that position of changing of Constellation is forward not backwards. It means that Ursa Major will move from Star/ Constellation (Nakshtra)1 that's Ashvini to Nakshtra 2 that's Bharani to Nakshtra 3 that's Krittika like that moving near to each Star /Constellation at the interval of 100 years or more.
Note : Star Magha (Regulus) & Denebola (Uttara Phalguni) are always near to Ursa Major(Saptarishi) but it doesn't means that every time Mahabharat War had happened.
•Some Error of our Indic Researchers:
While dating a dynasty timeline, some mistakes made by our researchers . For Example :
(From Matsya Purana)
This verse means that Ursa Major is shining in the Northern sky like fire when the Andhra’s had once again established their ruling over the Dakshinpatha. It means that when Pole Star was absent in the Northern sky during that period Ursa Major was the indicator for North. During that brief period Andhra's had reasserted their independent rule.
As per Vayu Purana, Satavahanas started to rule over the Indian Subcontinent when Ursa Major was near to the Star Swati ( Arcturus).
It means the Satavahanas (Andhra’s) started their rule over the subcontinent around 24th Century BCE and ruled for at least 900 years.

• Another fact is that Gupta Empire wasn’t next to the Andhra Dynasty. This can be proved from the following verse :

“Yadā Punarvasum yāsyantyete saptarishayai punah | Tada Sri-Guptavamsānām rāshtramatvanyam gamishyati || ”
This verse means that when Guptas gone out from the power, the Ursa Major(Saptarishi) was once again came back near to the Star Pollux (Punarvasu) .
From above table we know that Punarvasu was near to the Ursa Major came near to that Constellation around 9th century. So we’ve seen how misinterpreted our puranic scriptures have led to huge mistakes.
