But the truth is bitter and far away from them. I have done a research work based on literary evidences of Dipavamsa Shlokas.        • Evidence from Dipavamsa : 1.   Earthquakes during Mahinda's visit to Tamraparini :   Dipavamsa mentions that when Mahinda , son of Ashokadhamma  was residing in the Island of Tamraparini , and attained enlightenment in that Island.
